Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: Trainees of Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Shimla, representing different trades, visited the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha as part of an educational exposure visit aimed at enhancing their understanding of the functioning and procedures of the Legislative Assembly.
During the visit, the trainees were introduced to the Vidhan Sabha Session procedure, including the conduct of Assembly proceedings, legislative discussions, question hour, debates, and the overall functioning of the House. The visit provided the trainees with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge about the democratic and parliamentary system beyond the classroom environment.
The trainees also learned about the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders involved in the functioning of the Vidhan Sabha and developed a better understanding of how legislative business is conducted.
